Turn your questions into a clearer plan

Whether you are just starting your preparation or working through specific challenges, this session gives your finance team dedicated time to focus on your priorities.
We tailor the conversation to your organisation, concentrating on the areas where you need guidance most. These could include:

  • Income statement categories and classification questions
  • Management-defined performance measures (MPMs)
  • Preparing comparative information
  • Potential implications for your chart of accounts and reporting processes
  • Considerations for your existing consolidation and reporting platform
  • Project priorities, responsibilities and timescales

We base our guidance on your current environment, whether you use IBM® Controller, CCH® Tagetik or another financial platform.

What is included

  • A short questionnaire sent separately before the session to help us understand your position and priorities
  • A 60-minute online consultation focused on your organisation’s questions
  • Practical guidance on preparation, priorities and possible next steps
  • A one-to-two-page written summary of the discussion and suggested actions

You can invite relevant colleagues from your finance and reporting team to join the conversation.

How it works
1. Book your session: Register your interest and we will be in touch to arrange the session with you.

2. Tell us where you need help: Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send you a short questionnaire about your current systems, preparation and main challenges.

3. Discuss your priorities: Meet with a HAYNE consultant online to explore your questions and agree where to focus next.

4. Receive your written summary: Within five working days, we’ll send you a written summary of the guidance discussed, suggested actions and any areas that need further investigation.

How this relates to an IFRS 18 Readiness Assessment

Our IFRS 18 Readiness Assessment is a free, self-service document that helps you review your organisation’s preparation and identify areas needing attention.
The advisory session gives you dedicated time with a HAYNE consultant to work through your questions, explore challenges and prioritise your next steps. You can use it to talk through points raised by the assessment or to get guidance before completing it.

You don’t need to complete the assessment before booking. If you’ve already worked through it, your responses can help shape the conversation. The session is based on the information you share and doesn’t include system access or a review of your configuration. It’s advisory in nature and doesn’t constitute formal accounting or audit advice. Where further investigation is needed, we can agree on appropriate follow-up support.

Move your IFRS 18 preparation forward

Give your team dedicated time to work through your challenges and leave with a clearer understanding of what to do next.
